My name is Damini Sharma and I am currently pursuing BA+MA Clinical Psychology from Amity University. I did a one-month internship program at Dwarka Clinic of Psychowellness Center under the supervision of Dr (Prof) RK Suri and Miss Sudipta Das. Along with basics and ethics of therapy and counselling, I learnt so much in terms of assessment, scoring and interpretation of both objective and projective tests. The psychologist and counsellors take their time to explain all the little details about the case (with utmost confidentiality) and any other doubt that I had. I would highly recommend Psychowellness Center for all students who are planning a career in the field of Psychology.

As part of my University curriculum, I had to do an internship. A quick Google search got me Psychowellness Center. I am glad I found this place as I not only could complete my college requirements but also got a wholesome experience in the field of psychology. Under the guidance of RK Suri Sir and Sudipta ma’am, I had the opportunity to observe how a counseling session takes place, assist in assessments and understand the ethics of a psychological help center. I had great time learning in such a supportive environment. Thank you Psychowellness Center! I would suggest anybody who is looking for exposure and experience in the field of psychology to come to Psychowellness Center.

I had the opportunity to complete my internship at Psychowellness Center and it was an excellent learning experience. The team was supportive and provided valuable insights into therapy techniques and client interactions. I am Mehak Gandhi, a student of BA(H) Applied Psychology at Amity University. As I was required to do an internship, I joined Psychowellness Center. My 15day internship experience was amazing as I learnt more about the field of psychology and a hands-on experience about the working of a clinic. The guidance of Prof(Dr) RK Suri and Sudipta ma’am was insightful. The working environment at Psychowellness Center is very motivating and full of positive energy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an wholesome experience.

As part of my programme curriculum (MA Psychology, IGNOU) I was required to complete an internship of 240 hours in counselling psychology. I completed my 3 months internship under the guidance & supervision of RK Suri sir and Kala Sengupta ma’am. I had the opportunity to observe the counselling sessions, and even assist in psychometric tests giving me liberty to interact with the patients to truly understand their issues. Through this I got to learn everything about psychometric assessments, and how to interact with the patients keeping their details confidential. I would definitely recommend Psychowellness Center to anyone who wants to have a great internship experience.

We all know practical experience is the best, and internships give students that hands-on experience they need. My internship at Psychowellness Centre was such an experience. Learning counselling practices and methods, I realised what it meant to be a professional counsellor. The psychological skills I acquired not only enhanced my applicative learning, but also helped me to reinforce my knowledge of responsibility, focus, drive and ambition. I interned at Psychowellness Center for a month, and it was a wonderful learning experience. I got to closely work with trained and experienced Psychologists who had a lot of knowledge to impart. I got to learn about a variety of disorders, therapies, how to conduct psychological assessments and vast practical exposure with regard to counselling, under the guidance of Prof(Dr) RK Suri and Utkarsh Sir. It was a great learning experience and I am highly grateful to the entire team for being so supportive and kind, throughout.

I am currently in the second year of my bachelor honours of Applied Psychology. Being free at home made me research about the internship for Clinical Psychology and I came up with Psychowellness Center in Janakpuri. I enrolled myself in the internship for a month under the excellence and guidance of Prof (Dr) R.K.Suri with prudent and skilful imparting of clinical knowledge by Mr Utkarsh Yadav. As a budding psychologist, I was able to get a hands-on experience of a setting that I would be stepping into, in my future. It was a great learning experience and I thank everyone at Psychowellness Center for giving me a “feel at home” feeling and nurturing me for my future ahead.

I had the privilege of undertaking an internship under Dr. R K Suri and Ms. Aditi Bharadwaj, and I must say it was an eye-opening and transformative experience. From the moment I stepped into their practice, I felt welcomed and valued as a member of the team. The psychologist I worked with was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also had a warm and empathetic personality. This internship was the perfect fit for me as I chose it because I eventually want to become a Counselling Psychologist. I used this internship to explore my passion in the field of psychology, only making myself surer that this is the path I want to pursue as my future career. I gained a lot of confidence and learned so much. During the internship, I was provided the opportunity to work as professional in the clinic. I was tasked with taking psychological assessments, observing sessions and know more about mental health disorder, discussing treatment plans, learning about different therapies. With all this clinical experience under my belt, I feel confident that I could use these learned skills in my career to become a Counselling Psychologist.

I completed an internship at the Psychowellness Center in janakpuri 2022. Here, I had a full schedule of exciting responsibilities to complete every day. Throughout my internship, Dr. R.K. Suri Sir warmth and support were really appreciated. My senior psychologist Miss Varshini Nayyar supervised and assisted me as I made my way through the procedure. I gained knowledge about conducting psychological evaluations and was able to develop my capacity for handling huge amounts of data. I want to express my gratitude to the Psychowellness Center. I interned at Psychowellness Center for a month to gain some practical knowledge regarding my field. And the exposure they provided me with was great and fascinating. I got to learn about different mental disorders, psychological assessments and behaviour therapies. My name is Anushka and I am currently pursuing B.Sc. clinical psychology from SGT University, I have done my internship for 2 months at Psychowellness Center. In starting I find it weird because it was different from my previous internships but after I admire the way staff and Prof(Dr.) R. K. Suri taught me how to study cases, psychological assessment, disorders, observing sessions and the best part is giving articles to write to get theoretical knowledge. I cherish Utkarsh Sir who support and gave a good experience as a psychologist.

I am incredibly grateful for the privilege of completing my clinical psychology internship under the mentorship of Dr. R.K. Suri and Ms. Aditi Bhardwaj. Their unwavering support, insightful guidance, and constructive criticism have been pivotal in my development as a clinician. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the opportunity to complete my clinical psychology internship under the guidance of Dr.R.K.Suri and Ms. Aditi Bhardwaj. It has been an incredibly enriching and rewarding experience that has helped me grow both personally and professionally. I learned the importance of Applied Behavior Therapy, OT, CBT, and many more, and how it is conducted. I also learned about various psychometric tests and how they are conducted. Overall it has been an amazing learning experience under MS. Aditi Bhardwaj. My time at the psychowellness clinic as an intern working here under Dr RK Suri sir and Utkarsh sir was fruitful. Throughout my time here they provided strong commitment to make me understand different disorders, therapies, assessment and methods that are used while assessing a patient. Their willingness to take initiative and make me learn from every opportunity was commendable. For me working here has been a very enlightening and helped me to grow professionally. I also enjoyed spending time with other staff’s here, the team was collaborative and supportive which created a great work environment.

I am Dishita Malhotra currently pursuing a B.Sc psychology honors at Christ. I have completed my counseling internship under the guidance of Ms. Aditi Bhardwaj and Prof (Dr) R.K.Suri, I had the privilege of working under the guidance of my supervisor, who provided invaluable support and mentorship throughout the experience. During my internship, I gained practical insights into the field of counseling, & refined my skills in active listening, empathy, and therapeutic techniques. My supervisor encouraged me to take an active role in client sessions, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations. They provided constructive feedback, helping me to improve my approach.

During my psychology internship at Psychowellness Clinic, I got the incredible opportunity to delve into the intricate workings of several fields of psychology. Working alongside experienced psychologists and clinicians, I witnessed firsthand the difficulties and achievements of assisting individuals in a therapeutic relationship. One of the most important skills I learned throughout my internship was the value of empathy and making true connections with clients. Quality internships are essential to developing critical skills you can’t get in a classroom. They aren’t only required to build your knowledge but also provide you with a hands-on experience and develop skills that are essential to a psychologist such as true empathy, observation, ethical conduct and many more. I thoroughly enjoyed my training this summer and now have very valuable experience under my belt. As my internship draws to a close and I reflect back on all I have learned, I realize what an excellent experience this has been. In my opinion, the best way to learn is by doing. My name is Rimmi Kumari. I have completed my internship from Psychowellness Center Dwarka. I studied and practically examined various cases of OCD, Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders and learned lot of paramount experiences. As a psychology student i got comprehensive knowledge and practical skills regarding various psychological issues and psychometric testing under the supervision of Sulochna Mam & Dr. RK Suri. My internship at Dr. Suri’s Psychowellness clinic was a wonderful experience. The team, especially my supervisor Ms. Sakshi, was friendly and taught me a lot about working with patients, doing assessments, and using therapy techniques. A month back I got an opportunity to join the Psychowellness Centre, for my summer internship. It has been a very fulfilling experience for me. My learnings at the Psychowellness Centre include: taking case history, mental status examination, administration of psychological tests, enhancing active listening skills through role plays, and the basics of psychotherapy. My supervisor, Ms.Sakshi Dhankhar, has been very supportive and addressed my curiosity about neurodevelopmental disorders. My favorite part of the internship was observing ABA sessions with children. Having discussions with Dr.Suri regarding career prospects in psychology and the changing narrative around mental health services in India has been really insightful.
